FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY
ABOUT
ANIMAL RESCUE
Reins & Ropes is a sanctuary for rescued farm animals in Statenville, Georgia, USA. Run by farmer Chris McCain and his family, they take in and look after horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats that are neglected, malnourished or abandoned. Their 7-8 acre farm is currently home to over 35 animals.
Meet the Farmer
Chris McCain has loved animals since he was a kid. He was part of the foster system, so animals were his only consistent love. He worked used to work in the law enforcement field, and has ties to the law department in his community--who call him when they come across animals in need and ask him to help.
It is just him and his wife that work on the farm.
They have picked up at least 100 horses, as well as saving many more small animals. The animals will never be sold. Chris is committed to helping and providing homes for neglected animals.

Donate to help animals
Reins & Ropes needs donations to continue saving animals and providing them with food, medical care and supplies. Your donation goes directly to saving animals' lives and giving them a safe and healthy life. Caring for the animals costs tens of thousands of dollars a year.
Donating to the farm makes a real difference and allows Chris and his family to continue their work saving and caring for the animals.
WHY WE MADE THIS WEBSITE
Who created this website? People that care - in Washington State. Why did we create this website? The answer is simple—synergy.
Today, our world seems to struggle with exhibiting the simple qualities of everyday love, kindness, respect and dignity for all people and creatures.
We wanted to make this site an avenue for others (like us) to be a part of the solution to embrace and live by these qualities.
All these animals were mistreated, starved, ignored, and left to suffer by other uncaring humans. They were rescued by this remarkable man—a humanitarian “animal whisperer”. He treated their ailments, fed them, provided shelter, and loved them back to health. Most importantly, he saved them from sure death. He did whatever it took, without regard to time, labor, or cost. He supported them on his own restricted income.
We, his followers and now friends in Washington State, want to introduce you to this remarkable human being. We welcome and invite others to join us from all over the United Sates and World to be a part of saving the lives of these precious domestic and farm animals. Together each of us doing a “small act of kindness” can produce a huge difference to these animal…much greater than the sum of our individual separate act of kindness.
